The number of exports was 6.369 billion, an increase of 12.5% year-on-year and a decrease of 8.54% month-on-month; The unit price was 1.57 US dollars per unit, a year-on-year increase of 12.14%. The export varieties were mainly plastic spun noodle bags, with an export value of 8.151 billion US dollars, accounting for 81.44% of the total export value, a year-on-year increase of 25.07%; The export value of leather face bags was 1.535 billion US dollars, accounting for 15.33% of the total export value, a year-on-year increase of 36.41%; The export value of other materials for noodle bags was 322 million US dollars, accounting for 3.21% of the total export value, an increase of 10.20% year-on-year.


Customs data show that the export value of bags in September 2009 was US$1.12 billion, an increase of 6.39% compared with US$1.05 billion in August. From January to September 2009, the cumulative export of luggage was 9.15 billion US dollars, down 9.7% year-on-year, and the downward trend intensified, requiring special attention from government enterprises.  China's luggage exports have been in decline since September 2008, with the largest decline in February 2009, but exports have gradually improved since then.
Historical data shows that luggage exports in September 2008 increased significantly from the previous month, and have since declined. After several months of year-on-year decline, since entering May, the decline has exceeded 10%, and in June it was close to 20%, and the export outlook is not optimistic.

Nowadays, China's luggage exports are mainly exported in the form of general trade. Among them: the export value was 12.515 billion US dollars, accounting for 95.17% of the total import and export volume, an increase of 36.77% compared with the same period of the previous year, and a month-on-month decrease of 1.02%; The number of exports was 4.035 billion, an increase of 18.02% compared with the same period of the previous year, and a month-on-month increase of 2.93%; The export unit price was 3.1 US dollars / piece, an increase of 15.89% compared with the same period of the previous year. From January to September, China's luggage imports increased significantly, with an import amount of 635 million US dollars, an increase of 57.35% compared with the same period of the previous year.

 

In terms of luggage exports, Chinese luggage enterprises should continuously improve their independent research and development capabilities and technical equipment, enhance their marketing capabilities, expand export channels, further accelerate the pace of going to the world, gradually realize the transformation from product output to capital export and brand output, create a number of well-known brands at home and abroad, and enhance the international competitiveness of products; At the same time, pay close attention to international safety and technical testing standards to avoid the occurrence of trade frictions.
